Meet the New Perspectives Treatment Staff
At New Perspectives, we understand that the disease of addiction is a complex disorder that cannot be treated in the same manner for every client. That’s why our approach to addiction treatment is unique. Our experienced and professional staff helps to use an effective combination of medication-assisted treatment and evidence-based practices in order to help our clients realize their full potential in recovery. With multiple years of experience in the addiction treatment field, our team is committed to helping our clients recovery with compassion, dignity, and effective treatment methods.
Jennifer Miller, clinical director at New Perspectives, has worked in the field of mental health and substance abuse for over a decade. Jennifer graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University in 2012 with a master’s degree in counseling psychology. In 2014, Jennifer became a licensed mental health counselor and licensed marriage & family therapist. At that time, she opened her private practice and took a position as a clinical director. Jennifer recently helped launch the medication-assisted treatment program at New Perspectives and became a qualified supervisor. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in marriage & family therapy with a specialization in couples therapy at Northcentral University.
Certified Physician’s Assistant
With over 26 years of experience, Ana is trained in both internal medicine as well as psychiatry while specializing in addiction medicine. She was grandfathered in as a licensed physician associate in 1992 and has spent the last 10 years with a focus on mental health and addiction. Realizing that there was a need for follow up care and prescription refills from facilities, she opened ADB Medical Services to focus on mental health. She has received her doctorate of medicine from Central Eastern University in the Dominican republic and has interned at the Jackson Memorial Miami Veterans Administration.
One of the highlights of her career involved her training that she received in Wickenberg, Arizona at the Rosewood Center for Eating Disorders, a world-famous institution for eating disorders. There, she worked with children as young as 9 who struggled with anorexia. She now works to serve at New Perspectives as a certified physician’s assistant.
Dr. Janusz Swiatkowski
Former assistant professor of psychiatry at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and outpatient director of North Central Bronx Department of Psychiatry, Dr. Swiatkowski has been working in the field of addiction treatment for the last 15 years. He has been the medical director for many leading centers in Southeast Florida and has obtained certifications in addiction medicine from ASAM and ABAM. He is also a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Client Care Coordinator
Philip Enders is originally from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He attended Central Dauphin High School where he was a part of his school’s soccer and swimming team before graduating in 2005. Growing up, Philip was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Harrisburg. After high school, Philip attended High Point University from 2005 to 2008 and was a member of the Delta Sigma Phi fraternity and served as the chaplain. While attending High Point, Philip was involved in multiple philanthropy fundraisers for the March of Dimes. He has been working in the addiction treatment field for over six years and has held the titles of behavioral health technician, clinical liaison, and primary counselor. He currently serves as a client care coordinator for New Perspectives. In August of 2016, he obtained his certification as a certified addiction counselor. During this time, he attended the Academy for Addiction Professionals in Delray Beach, Florida. He is currently a student at Palm Beach State College and is working towards his bachelor’s degree. In his free time, Philip enjoys watching football and painting.
